Joe has over six years of art (both drawing and painting) tutoring and teaching experience in Canada. He specializes in children and youth fine arts education. Joe also has a very strong academic background in fine arts. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Oil Painting from Sichuan Institute of Fine Arts, one of the most prestigious Fine Arts institutes in China. In the past six years, Joe’s students have been accepted into various high school Arts programs, such as Earl Haig Secondary School’s Claude Watson Visual Arts program and Unionville High School Arts Program (the Arts Unionville). Joe is also experienced in assisting students to obtain admissions into university undergraduate programs, such as the University of Western Ontario, the Ontario College of Arts and Design, and the University of Waterloo. Joe takes pride in fostering students’ love for arts, developing their creativity, and combining them with solid fundamental training of arts skills. Students can therefore improve their artistic abilities.
When he is not teaching, Joe does professional paintings. His painting works have been successfully exhibited in various art shows, including Toronto Art Expo and Queen West Art Crawl.
